This shot is about the most exercise I've had taking a photo. My friend Tim, who was also taking pics commented that it could be interesting, but it lacked something. I then took a shot of him with the flash, which was the inspiration needed.

With the cameras on tripods and long exposure, we each took a side to run up with our flash guns and "paint" the trees. It took a few goes to get the shot right, and we eventually remembered about bulb, so could walk up without worrying about reaching the end before the cameras stopped
