After I got home, as I went to close the car door, I caught it with my phone, which went flying and fell to the ground. It remained turned on, so when in the dark I saw roughly what I expected on the screen, I thought it was all fine. 10 mins later when I went to answer a call, I then saw the state. Somehow its still working correctly!
