Well, I've certainly got out of the habit of blogging! Its been about a year since I added anything on here. Anyways...
I'm now the proud owner of a nokia n900 running Maemo linux. Its got a fairly decent selection of packages, but is some what lacking in others. I dont think there is currently a maemo optimised package of openoffice, and it would be good to get some satnav on it too.
With regards to sat nav, I've already had a go at compiling for my media box navit, and I think it should be possible to get it working nicely. Once I've got the maemo sdk installed and working, I will add some info to the projects area on here. I've had a look around for festival pre-compiled for maemo5, but not found it yet, so it will be another package to compile
